Here is a short meditation with So Hum (I Am All) supported by the Shruti Box, an instrument similar to the Indian harmonium. With this instrument you play one chord while droning e.g. here is C cord with the 5th – G.

Would you like to create feelings of ease, stillness, and clarity through the use of meditation and the mantra ‘So Hum’? It will expand and change your conscious level of awareness.

So Hum (I Am All) – all of creation, the one breathing us in) is a powerful mantra. It is an opportunity to focus your ‘thinking mind.’ This mantra leads you to open to the expanse around you using the breath, and mantra during meditation.

It is a great meditation to do just before bedtime to feel clear, relaxed and neutral and helps you fall into a deeper sleep. It transports your mind from a state of activity to one of stillness and silence. It also helps regulate our breathing.

You can use this recording for a 3 minute or more meditation, either listening to the mantra or chanting along with the recording.

Chanting with the constant sound of the shruti box you can begin your mantra repetition. The drone acts as a steady guide, supporting your voice and helping you stay on pitch. The air pressure from the bellows in the shruti box is what creates the continuous drone sound.

Focus on the vibration by concentrating on feeling the mantra’s sound vibration in your chest and head. The resonance of the shruti box will amplify this effect.

Do this meditation for 30 days and observe the benefits. I welcome your feedback about this on my website.

Shanti,

Anamda
